Our Programs:
(1.) A community based One-to-one program, presently with 38 children enrolled (ages 7-17) from 29 local families. Many matches have lasted over 5 years! This includes a monthly activity program.
(2.) a school-year site-based program, "Early Bird Breakfast Buddies", at the Nantucket Elementary School where 35 children are matched One-to-one with high school seniors two mornings a week.
(3.) Mentoring Young Adults of Nantucket (MYAN), currently with 6 youth matched, a prevention program for island teens, grades 7-12, who are in danger of dropping out of high school and/or of becoming involved in the court system.
